In 2008 Samantha was selected to be one of the original cast members of ITV’s smash hit programme ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ (often abbreviated as TOWIE). TOWIE a “scripted reality” television soap opera based in Essex, England, the show has been described as Britain’s answer to The Hills.
Samantha built a career off the back of the show and has had unprecedented success within her field.
She’s released three Sunday Time bestselling books, her first book spent over 17 weeks in the top ten and knocked Simon Cowell off the number number one spot.
Samantha released two perfumes “La Bella” and “Pure” along with her own eyelash range and self tanning range. La Bella went on to become the number one best selling perfume on year of launch, outselling the likes of One Direction and Britney Spears. The fragrance went on to win the esteemed Pure Beauty Award, for the Best New Female Fragrance.
Continuing to add to her list of huge successes, Samantha went on to design her own clothing range with Very, one of the UK’s biggest online fashion retailers. Sam curated, and modelled, her collection. Sam’s range became Very’s fastest selling celebrity clothing range outselling the likes of Fern Cotton, Tanya Burr and Rochelle Holmes. Samantha has also released her own electrical hair, pushchair and pram range and more recently her own home furnishing line all which is stocked within leading retailers including Next, Argos, Boots, Mothercare, JD Williams, Very and more.
Samantha is quite possibly one of the most talked about media personalities in the UK. She has appeared on the front cover of every major weekly magazine and tabloid, and has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Glamour Magazine, Company Magazine, Hello, OK, Fabulous, ES Magazine to name a few, she is also a regular guest on prime-time television programs and appears almost daily within online press.
In 2016 Samantha invited viewers to join her on an unforgettable journey into motherhood as she threw open the doors and invited cameras into her home for the very first time. The 90 minute special for ITV followed the highs and lows of family life in the spotlight, the show gave viewers a front row seat as she ventures into parenthood. From baby scans, birthing classes to coping with a newborn, breastfeeding and general lack of sleep, viewers saw it all. The show gained the highest ever viewing figures for ITVBe and was also picked up by streaming service Netflix. Samantha’s sister joined the show in 2017, Sam & Billie: The Mummy Diaries which returns later this year is now in it’s 7th series and continues to be a ratings winner – with the last series gaining the highest ever viewing figures!
More recently Samantha announced a year long sponsorship deal with nappy brand Pamper and collaborated with fashion retailer River Island on the Samantha Faiers edit. She also co-owns her own multi-million pound operating e-commerce fashion businesses.
