Samantha Faiers, 25, is a television personality, BAFTA winner, bestselling author, business owner and model.

It all started when she was 18 years old and working as a cashier in a bank. Samantha was selected to be one of the original cast members of ITV2’s smash hit programme ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ (often abbreviated as TOWIE.) TOWIE is a “scripted reality” television soap opera based in Essex, England. It shows. The show has been described as Britain’s answer to The Hills and overnight Sam became a household name.

In early 2011, Samantha along with her sister Billie, Mother & Auntie opened their fashion retail business, Minnies Boutique. The store, based in Brentwood, Essex, has a loyal fan base. Fans flock from around the world to visit the business. Minnies was such a success that it went on tour, going out and around the UK to visit the masses with the Minnies Boutique Pop Up Shop Tour.

Samantha went on to secure a book deal with publishers Simon & Schulster and released her debut book ‘Living Life The Essex Way’ in 2012, ’Living Life the Essex Way’ went on to spend 17 weeks in the Top 10 of the Sunday Times Bestsellers Chart, knocking Simon Cowell off the Number 1 spot.

In 2014, after suffering chronic pains that went undiagnosed for a number of years, Samantha visited a private doctor in Harley Street and was found to have life changing Chrons Disease. However, Sam was determined to not be defeated and took some time out to recover and adjust to life with her illness.

Samantha has also made her battle with Trichotillomania, an impulse-control disorder that causes people to pull out their hair, public to help others suffering with the condition.

Later that year, Samantha released her debut perfume “La Bella” and her own eyelash range. La Bella went on to become the number one best selling perfume of the year, outselling the likes of One Direction and Britney Spears. The fragrance went on to win the esteemed Pure Beauty Award, for the Best New Female Fragrance. Sam was also appointed as the face of top lingerie brand, Ann Summers, and went on to bag herself a lucrative modelling contract with one of London’s most prestigious agencies, Elite.

Continuing to add to her list of huge successes, Samantha went on to design her own clothing range with Very, one of the UK’s biggest online fashion retailers. Taking inspiration from styles she loves to wear herself, as well as key trends from the catwalk, Sam curated, and modelled, her collection. Sam’s range became Very’s fastest selling celebrity clothing range outselling the likes of Fern Cotton, Tanya Burr and Rochelle Holmes.

Samantha is quite possibly one of the most talked about media personalities in the UK. She has appeared on the front cover of every major weekly magazine and tabloid, and has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Glamour Magazine, Company Magazine, Hello, OK, Fabulous & ES Magazine to name a few. Sam is also a regular guest on prime-time television programs.

2015 saw Samantha release her second book “Secrets & Lies – the truth behind the headlines” through publisher Penguin and the book became an overnight bestseller. In her second book, Sam dives into what it is like living in the spotlight, telling the unknown stories about her love life, health and successes as a businesswoman. Samantha released her second fragrance, “Pure”, and her own self-tanning range, “Glow”. Sam also launched her own line of electrical hair care tools with leading manufacturer Carmen.

This year saw Samantha invite viewers to join her on an unforgettable journey into motherhood as she threw open the doors and invited cameras into her home for the very first time. The 90 minute special for ITVbe followed the highs and lows of family life in the spotlight, the show gave viewers a front row seat as she ventures into parenthood. From baby scans, birthing classes to coping with a newborn, breastfeeding and general lack of sleep, viewers saw it all. The show gained the highest ever viewing figures for ITVbe, with ITV now commissioning a further 6 part series that will air later this year.

With a burgeoning business empire and a combined social following of more than 2.85 million it’s set to be a very exciting year for Sam.
